The Bang

Working title — voted on when the book is complete.

Synopsis

The world may have started with a bang, but it didn't end that way. It ended with a choice that somebody else made, and now we have to live with the consequences.

Our characters remember what came before: the cities, where fire didn't always burn. The sky was a different color, the way things were supposed to be. But memory is a burden in a world that's moved on.

Now they must navigate a landscape that's half-familiar and wholly unforgiving, making decisions that ripple far beyond themselves. In a fractured world where survival is the only currency that matters, these characters discover that the future isn't something that happens to you; it's something you must try to live for.

We watch these characters navigate this difference. Growing up, and making decisions that could change the way things are, not just for themselves, but for the people around them.
